In 1985 Davidson/Jordan Associates, Inc. was formed by two transportation industry veterans, Mr. John Davidson, a former freight company partner and owner of the post-audit company Central Traffic Consultants, in business since 1969, and Mr. Joe Jordan, who has been in the transportation field since 1970 as a traffic and rate manager for Merchant Truck Lines, auditor for Central Traffic Consultants, and was President of Davidson/Jordan Associates, Inc. from 1985.
Mr Davidson and Mr. Jordan realized that freight customers currently benefitting from post-audit services that prevented erroneous freight bills from being incorrectly paid in the first place. By offering the traditional post-audit service to "clean up" old errors, and the pre-audit services to prevent future errors from occurring, Davidson/Jordan Associates, Inc. made both services available from one company and rapidly became a leader in the freight audit business. To help accomplish that task, in 1987 Mr. Davidson and Mr. Jordan brought Mr. Karl Bullock on board to provide the necessary softare and hardware support, and eventually to serve as General Manager
With the formation of Davidson/Jordan Associates, Inc., Mr. Davidson closed Central Traffic Consultants and worked until his retirement from the company in 1999. As company President, Mr. Jordan was actively involved in the direct operations of the company and on-site to offer his freight expertise on a daily basis.
In 2012 Mr. Jordan retired, and the business was assumed under a new title by Mr. Bullock. Now at the helm of the company, the new management's goal is to continue the long tradition of excellence and integrity and provide the best personalized service available in a way that sets Bullock & Associates apart from other companies.
